Support our Library!

We welcome donations, gifts and sponsorships that may help us improve the resources and services we provide to our patrons, including:

• Scientific and medical literature that matches the Library’s profile and is current and valuable in terms of content. If you would like to donate books or other publications, please send us a list in advance by email, so that we can identify which titles would be most useful to our readers. With the donor’s consent, publications that are not added to the collection of the Central Medical Library may be donated to other libraries in Bulgaria or made available free of charge to our readers who may find them useful.
• Financial or in-kind donations that support the development of the Library, the modernisation of its infrastructure, and the improvement of its services and facilities for readers. Donations may include equipment, technology, software, furniture, and other resources related to the Library’s activities. Our current priority needs include:
  • new computers for our readers;
  • scanners for the digitisation of books and journals;
  • objects related to the history of medicine and medical education for the development of a medical history exhibition within the Library;
  • lounge furniture, chairs, and other furnishings to improve the comfort and facilities of our reading rooms.

Every donation, regardless of its size, can help the Library provide a better environment, richer resources, and more modern services for students, faculty, researchers, and all our users.
