Abstract. The Health Professionals Vaccine Confidence and Behaviors (Pro-VC-Be) questionnaire is a tool for assessing the psychosocial factors shaping the trust in vaccines and the vaccination behavior of healthcare professionals. The aim of the present study is to validate and pilot the Bulgarian version of the questionnaire for use in medical practice. Based on the results obtained, we recommend the use of Pro-VC-Be Bulgarian as a reliable and easy-to-use instrument that can support understanding of the general practitioner attitudes and contribute to improving awareness, confidence, and vaccination practices in Bulgaria.
Key words: vaccination behaviors, vaccine confidence, general practitioners, Pro-VC-Be questionnaire, general practice
