New AI-Powered Natural Language Mode in the Library’s Online Resources Search Tool

The library’s online resources search tool (EBSCO Discovery Service) now features a new Natural Language Search (NLS) mode, powered by artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
With this tool, you can ask questions in plain language – no need for complex keywords or Boolean operators. The system understands the meaning and context of your query, making it easier to find accurate and relevant information.
All you need to do is activate Natural Language Search using the button located below the search field.
Try out NLS and discover a smarter way to work with scholarly resources!

Haven’t used our online resources search tool yet?
It is basically a catalogue for our online resources, powered by EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) software. The search tool offers a single access point to all electronic resources subscribed to by the Library, as well as open-access materials from hundreds of publishers worldwide. It’s your starting point for literature research! With just one search, you gain simultaneous access to thousands of international, academic, and peer-reviewed sources – unlike the widely-used internet search engines, which may not index this content and are not designed for scholarly use.
Why use the online resources search?
• Easy and fast: one search, countless results;
• Simultaneous access to all subscribed databases: no need to use each one separately;
• Simple or advanced searching, multiple filters, and AI – the choice is yours!
• Use it online anytime, no matter where you are!
Please note: To read full-text documents, you must be connected to the MU-Sofia network or use remote access provided by our library.
