Abstract. Thermoregulation in children and adults is a basic mechanism of maintaining body homeostasis and vital processes in the body. Changes in children’s body temperature are much more rapid and alarming as a symptom and are a frequent reason for referral for consultation and diagnostic clarification. In this article, we have focused on the problem of hypothermia or low body temperature in childhood – causes, clinical symptoms and treatment.
