Abstract. Worldwide, breast cancer is considered the second most common type of cancer in women. The diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer subject patients to a variety of painful and debilitating therapies that cause numerous physical changes and can lead to various emotional and psychological traumas. Therefore, the provision of counseling support is one of the main factors contributing to the relief of psychological symptoms, control of negative thoughts and reduction of negative emotions experienced by women.
