A survey into the opinions of students from the Healthcare and Public health professional fields on hybrid teaching

Abstract. Hybrid teaching is convenient and proven to be effective. It is already accepted by many lecturers and students in the developed world. Organizing and implementing online teaching is connected to the use of innovative practices and appropriate educational resources. The purpose of this article is to study the opinions of students from the Healthcare and Public Health professional fields on the quality and organization of hybrid education at the Faculty of Public Health “Prof. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, МD, DSc”, Medical University – Sofia. After assessing the results, we reached the conclusion that the majority of the respondents believe the hybrid education form to contribute to the education in their specialty. It is necessary to modernize education, which will eliminate the existing deficiencies and will direct all effort towards the two fundamental priorities – the creation and retention of high-quality human capital, and the management of scientific research and innovations for the benefit of society.
