Linguistic and cultural adaptation of the „Pro-VC-Be Bulgarian” questionnaire

Abstract. The Health Professionals Vaccine Confidence and Behaviors Questionnaire (Pro-VC-Be) measures health care professional psychosocial determinants in relation with their vaccination behaviors. The aim of the present study was to carry out a procedure for the linguistic and cultural adaptation of Pro-VC-Be into Bulgarian language. The procedure was conducted in accordance with the established guidelines. This study successfully completed the linguistic and cultural adaptation of the Pro-VC-Be questionnaire for Bulgarian medical practice. The resulting tool is tailored to the linguistic and cultural specificities of the country and can be used to investigate trust in vaccines and vaccination behavior among the healthcare professionals in Bulgaria.
