Abstract. A 35-year-old female patient without health-related issue, and blood sample tests in normal limits presented with alopecia on the frontal area of the scalp. After meticulous examination, including series of blood samples and consultations with endocrinologists, dermatologists and gynecologists, it was established that the pattern was of an androgenic alopecia. The patient underwent hair restoration procedure, and 2000 hair follicles have been transferred from the occipital area to the frontal sight of the scalp under local anesthesia with nerve blocks. The procedure has been evaluated photographically after 18 months, demonstrating successful survival of the hair follicles and optimal level of satisfaction of the patient.
