Abstract. Gonarthrosis is a socially significant disease with a high incidence in the aging population. Along with operative methods, mainly knee arthroplasty, non-operative treatment has a significant place in the treatment of this disease. Nonoperative treatment can be applied by a wide range of medical professionals, which makes it an important tool for controlling the disease, especially in its early stages. Among the non-operative methods, the most important are drug treatment, intra-articular injections and biological therapy, as well as kinesitherapy and reduction of body weight.
