Аbstract. The uterine fibroid is the most common benign tumor, primarily affecting women of reproductive age. Its treatment can be either pharmacological or surgical. Depending on the extent of the surgery, it may be organ-preserving or radical. Therefore, the management of patients with leiomyoma should be individualized based on symptoms, size, location, age, the physician’s experience, and the patient’s desire for pregnancy. In the surgical treatment of uterine fibroid disease, selecting the optimal surgical approach is crucial for effectiveness, safety, and quality of life. Laparoscopic myomectomy is emerging as the gold standard due to its lower procedural cost and reduced patient trauma, particularly in cases with up to four fibroid nodules.

Key words: uterine fibroids, laparoscopic myomectomy, robot-assisted surgery
