Celebrating Our Reader of the Year and Volunteer of the Year

On the occasion of National Library Week, the Central Medical Library presented its Reader of the Year and Volunteer of the Year awards.

The Reader of the Year award was presented to Rafailia Georghiadou, a student at the Faculty of Medicine of Medical University – Sofia, for the highest number of library visits in the period May 2025 – May 2026. With this distinction, we recognize her active engagement, consistency, and appreciation of the library as a place for learning, preparation, and academic development.

This year for the first time we decided to present a Volunteer of the Year award, which was received by Tsvetomir Kirilov, a student at the Faculty of Medicine of Medical University – Sofia, for his active volunteer contribution to the mission of the Central Medical Library. We express our sincere gratitude to him for his active involvement in several library initiatives and events over the past year, as well as for his feedback, suggestions for improvement, and overall attitude toward our team.

Congratulations to the award recipients! For us, they are proof that the library is not only a space for access to information, but also a vibrant community of people who learn, help, and share.
