Abstract. The current dynamics in the profession of nurses, midwifes and healthcare professionals, especially when it comes to the new career opportunities and managerial functions taken by them, prove the need for deep and precise research in different innovative approaches providing effective training. The goal of this article is to conduct a comparative analysis of opinions from students in the Public Health and Health Management specialty and the students specializing in the regulated professions on hybrid education as an enduring educational and communicational form and its impact on the quality of medical care. The results of the conducted questionnaire survey showed that hybrid education organized in the Faculty of Public Health “Prof. Tzekomir Vodenicharov, МD, DSc”, Medical University – Sofia, succeeds in combining the presentation and acquisition of the needed theoretical knowledge during online lectures with the practical training provided in the in-person clinical practice and the pre-graduation internship. This is a prerequisite for well-trained and competitive health specialists and successful managers.
