Quality of life in patients with some of the common androgen-dependent dermatoses

Abstract. We are facing an increased interest in the interdisciplinary problems of androgen-dependent dermatoses. In the present survey, data from the investigations of contemporary foreign authors immediately devoted to the disturbed individual quality of life of the patients with four most common androgen-dependent dermatoses – acne vulgaris, hidradenitis suppurativa, androgenic alopecia, and seborrhoeic dermatitis, are systematized. Various dermatological indexes and questionnaires for the evaluation of patients’ quality of life were used.
