The patient satisfaction with treatment received in Tuzlata Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital –Balchik

Abstract. The aim of the present study was to explore and analyze the patient attitudes and opinions and the patient satisfaction with medical services delivered in Tuzlata Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital – Balchik, during the period of COVID-19 pandemic, 2021-2022. Materials and Methods: The analyzes, protocols, reports, survey studies in Tuzlata Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital – Balchik, in the period 2021-2022, as well as documentary and statistical methods with graphic presentations of results were used. Results: The study included two parts, the first of which includes the administration issues of the organization of admission in Tuzlata Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital – Balchik, the surveyed patients, their funding (funding from National Health Insurance Fund or National Social Security Institute, or self-pay), age and sex. The second part contains the issues of organization and satisfaction with the hospital stay in terms of nutrition, procedures, the attitudes of personnel and the complex (administrative and medical) service, proposals and recommendations. Conclusions: The studies of the patient satisfaction in Tuzlata Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital – Balchik are the main criterion for the assessment of rehabi-litation service offered in the medical center and the motivation of the personnel for a personal and occupational presentation. The patient high opinions on the standards for quality of medical activities and the attitude of the personnel (95-100%) show that the patient interests and rights are ensured with the financial terms offered by the medical center.
