Abstract.Enshrined in the code of ethics of health care professionals are the qualities that every nurse should combine. Professional competence, qualification and responsibility are leading. But sisters must also possess strong personal qualities such as humanity, honesty, humanity and charity. In their work, they must be conscientious and well-intentioned, building tactful relationships with patients, colleagues and society as a whole. To be polite and tolerant towards the patient and his family. To show impartiality towards patients with different public, social and material status. There are high demands on nurses, who follow the patient through the entire path of maintaining and restoring health, and support him until death. At the same time, the dynamic environment in healthcare places them at occupational risk of physical exertion, forced work posture, injuries and illnesses, including at risk of high neuropsychological stress. Nurses are subjected to systemic overload, working in two or more jobs and in constant risk of deterioration of physical and mental health, while at the same time bearing increased responsibility for people’s lives and health, in conditions of instability and lack of resources. They suffer from chronic fatigue, stress, burnout syndrome, workplace conflicts and job dissatisfaction, lack of motivation for professional development and career growth.
